Student-Athletes often forget to leverage their athletic experience on a resume. The time spent participating in sports is valuable time and should be included on a resume, including sport(s), years played, accomplishments, time devoted to training, etc. Sport(s) participation is a great way to gain experience and skills - skills that transfer into college and the workforce. The experience and skills gained can be listed under various sections on a resume, for example, a section titled: SKILLS or RELEVANT EXPERIENCE ***A transferable skills in an ability or expertise which can be applied in a variety of roles or occupations.
