Scholarships are a great option to help pay for school expenses.  Scholarships are real, valuable, and not just for:
 

• Students going thru hard times.

 

• Athletes

 

• Smart ones

 

• Extracurricular participants

 
There are all types of scholarships for all kinds of humans!  So how do you get started? 
 
1. Write ONE solid essay about 500 words - The most common responses I get from students are:

• About what?!?!
• I have no story.
• I don’t even know.

 
2. Here are some topic ideas:

• What are your passions - video games, skateboarding, cooking, social media and why?
• What are 5 goals for your future?
• How do you envision your future?  
• Why is pursuing a career important to you?
• Tell about a book or movie that influenced your perspective?

 
3. Be honest in your writing.

• Not clear about your career - be honest about that.
• Need money to help you pay for school - be honest about that!
